The Odd Rocket Collective CIC is the result of a couple of frustrated creative minds seeking an outlet and a community. After many long nights brainstorming and long days dreaming, we finally realised what it is that we needed to do: build a new creative hub, in Truro, for all those other pent-up artistic souls to gather, commune, collaborate and create.

We were craving community, connection, and SPACE. A space to make real our ideas, to feel safe and nourished, and that we could share with others. So we asked, and the universe delivered (in that way that it inevitably does) a delightful space at the wonderful Old Bakery Studios, in Truro, and we began to craft our vision.

The Collective exists to facilitate ideas, support individuals, and connect creative (and art-curious) people together. As a CIC we hope to gain financial support to sustain the group from grants and subscriptions, but start up costs are a thing and we would love to hit the ground running when we launch 'officially' in April.

We have studio rent to cover but thankfully few other overheads, however we'd love to get a decent printer/copier for creating our quarterly zine, a stockpile of sketchbooks, notebooks, pencils and pens, and some lovely Odd Rocket merch for our members...
